I had a similar issue as the responder to this question. I disagree with Rocketfish's response. I believe this is a sync issue, and not an HDCP issue. The HDMI splitter could hold sync with the source when devices are turned on and off, or modifified in any way. Additionally, the assertion that Rocketfish cannot deal with the HDCP issues is also false as some competitive products do include a vChip which decrypts the copy protected content before sending it on to the outputs. As expected, they are significantly more expensive than this unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had trouble with my rocketfish splitter as well. The signal goes away and comes back twice each time I turn on one of the two devices or each time I turn them off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some devices will not allow Copyrighted material to play through a splitter. Unfortunately we do not have a way to force devices, it will be dependent on the High Definition Copyright Protection that your source device is using.
