Nah. You mean like an extension? Conventions were to use the same style connectors on all devices, thereore the cables will have the same type of connecting ends. You are forced to buy a longer cable to cover the longer distances

To my best recollection,I don't think that there was a male/female on the ends of this cable system. It uses a pin system for connection.
Your best bet is to call, or email Best Buy, with your question to make sure that my answer is correct.
