Does this HDMI lock securely for a stable connection? Some HDMI's mention this. I am wondering if this product does, and weather it is better to get one that does lock.

Yes, it locks into place and is very sturdy, it has not fallen out or caused any pixel issues for me since I have had it from November 2016. I had problems with my cox cable connection to the mini box using the HDMI cord provided by Cox Cable and switched it out to the Rocketfish HDMI cable and have not had a problem with my tv channels getting all funky from the rain or northeast weather conditions. Also, it doesn't ruin the picture after losing power as well.

Yes, and actually it can be bent and stressed in a tight spot, while still staying connected without any looseness or tearing. It fits securely in my TV, PC, blu ray player , and my wife's little iPhone connector thingy. (for putting your phone picture on your TV)

It doesnt have locks on it, but it does seem quite secure when plugged in, judging by the force it takes to unplug the cord.
