• There are only 2 speed certifications for HDMI, Category 1 and Category 2. Anything else is hype. Speed ratings are meaningless where HDMI cables are concerned. You can find some great information at http://www.audioholics.com/audio-video-cables/hdmi-cable-speed about the hype surrounding HDMI.

• It’s only certified 2.0 cable. They’ve upgraded to 2.1 hdmi cables now. And I wouldn’t use the tv as a smart tv I’d plug in a a streaming device and use it that way. I wouldn’t be accessing the android TV settings. By pass straight to the hdmi and device from TV setup Although. Even. Several 2.1 streaming devices out accessing apps and using the tvs storage etc just shortens they tvs life span I still have a 2921 58inch Hisense smart tv. That works great Dolby vision hdr 10. And gets horrible reviews because people actually use it to access the roku part. Anyway I got a couple Certified licensed 2.1 hdmi cables for 10 bucks, Kabel Direkt 2/1,
