“i own a vizio tv and am trying to hook my LG blu-ray player to it yet am unable to get sound during the movie, i get sound during the previews but not for the movie, i’ve tried multiple blu-ray movies, is it the cable or the player my dvds play with sound”

It’s gotta be the player. Cable should have nothing to do with that
