Yes, try new high speed cables.. You will need a ultra high speed hdmi cable with at least 18 Gbps(maximum bandwidth) or greater for your 4k bluray player. If you have an TV with eArc with hdmi 2.1, connection, there now appearing ultra high speed hdmi cables with 48 GBPs for Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos for 8k Tvs. For at least, 4k, try audioQuest- pearl or cinnamon ultra high speed cables.

Please try again later.If the picture coming from a source is not good, upgrade the cable from the source (eg the BR player) and if that doesn't solve the problem make sure the BR output is set to 4k and make sure the TV is set to accept 4k on that particular input. Almost guaranteed, 4k TV's will present the highest quality picture (eg 4k) possible, so it's more likely a setting issue than a cable/connection issue. But if the settings are properly configured the cable may very well be the problem.
