It means the cable is certified to be installed inside the wall. This will give a cleaner look then having your cables visible behind your TV. There are many alternatives to hide your cables, then to go through all this work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This means if you have someone come through your house to set up the HDMI port built into your wall....like that phone jack or wall outlet. You can get the same deal where the cable just runs though the wall up to the tv from point a to point b....now that being said if you go that route your limited on where you can move your tv because if you decided to move it to the other side of the room you would have to buy a new cable and that one would show vs the one that is hidden in the wall.

Please try again later.I believe the in-wall installation means running running the cable from a mounted TV (up high on a wall), through a hole (small part that cleans this up a bit), down through the wall to another hole with a small part to hide the hole, that then connects to your box/DVD/Blu-Ray, etc. Basically keeps you from having a big cord just hanging on the wall below your TV.
