Yes they support Dolby vision. I believe it's an issue with the two products . Maybe contact apple or LG to help resolve the issue.

Other times the tv may not accept this file type and then tried to use its own software to fix it. Another thing to check is that wiring is correct. For Sony, cable box to HDMI 2.2 on tv, DVD to sound bar then sound bar ARC out to tv ARC in.
