Does it do 120 fresh rate null

I did not use mine yet it is pricy but should do what ever your cable is doing or your unit it is just a conector ?

As long as both cables in it are HDMI 2.1, you can do up to 48Gb/s, so absolutely handles 4k 120 & then some.
