My phone charges, but no video or audio. How can I fix this? I have an S4. Everything is plugged in correctly and even my television recognizes it has a mhl cable in it, but my phone recognizes nothing and is just charging. Is there a way to fix this?

Did you try using the small USB adapter (that came with the interface) between the interface cable and your phone? That was the only way I could get a signal. Without the adapter the phone charged but there was no video or audio. Good luck.

best thing to do is but a chromecast ..download airwire app on your phone and stream your movies wirelessly
