“Does this unit need to be looking toward a satlight or west south..which direction should it be located”

• This antenna picks up local digital station broadcasts. Nothing to do with satellites. For our usage range is about 30 miles. Product says it's good to about 60 miles (i assume with little obstructions and relatively flat terrain)

• This unit does Not pick up anything from satilites ,point it towards the closet city that broadcast stations,,im in daytona,,i point it towards orlando,,50 miles away
