• if mount holes on back of tv are no more than 17" apart, AND tv weighs no more than 75lbs, then yes this will work. very sturdy provided you hit wall studs with mounting screws.

• I would not recommend it as these are rated for the tv weight first and foremost. Then the holes may or may not line up. You can take it back if they don't but definitely check the weight of the tv compared to other 70 inch ones.
