“Once on the wall, is it difficult to plug cables in the back? Or would I need to take the TV off the mount, add cables, then put the TV back? And how difficult a process is that - from the info here it seems like the TV slides on/off the mount?”

Hang it and first and then run your audio video cables... Plenty of room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To remove the TV from the wall mount you need to pull the latches down to unlock the TV from the wall mount, then pull the bottom of the TV out from the wall and lift it up and off the wall plate.
