“How far out does this extend? Our space for TV is a recessed box above fireplace that is 24.5 inches deep. I’d like to mount the TV over the outside of the box.”

The mount with brackets and all extends about 3 1/2” from the wall. It also pivots up and down if you’re looking for that sort of functionality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't measure, but I would guess that my TV is about 5-6" from the wall - you need a different mount that allows you to pull it forward as well as tilt (if desired).
