• The distance between the wall and the back of the TV is 2.5".

• The mount does fit very close to the wall. The wall mount does tilt which allows some room to be had. Also depends a lot on the location of your hdmi ports. If they are located on the side or bottom of tv you should have no issues. If the ports are located on the back with non angled ports it will most likely not work for you.
