“Is this considered 2nd or 3rd party item?if so can this brick my switch ? Also if it does brick my switch do i get my switch replaced at no cost?”

• This WILL brick your Switch. Do NOT buy this dock! It happened to us within a few days of buying this dock brand new from Best Buy in late July 2020.

• it Bricked my daughter's switch in 2 days, purchased on 7/25/20, I hooked it up on 7/26/20, it worked for 2 days, then bricked the switch on 7/28/20. They should not be selling this.
