Yes - you are connecting to the output of the AV receiver so the decode happens within the receiver. Any decoded surround sound is then sent through via surround left and or surround right.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The wireless kit sends 2 discrete signals and amplifies up to 25W per channel. There is a second volume adjuster on the wireless receiving unit, but volume will increase and decrease with the volume you have set on your AV receiver, so I recommend setting it to max. The signal quality is indistinguishable from wired for me, and I do not notice a delay.
