I'm using a Yamaha receiver and not a soundbar for my set up.

For the wireless transmitter to work, the audio signal going into the Rocketfish transmitter comes from my receiver's speaker output.  In other words, from the left and right channels' + and - outputs using speaker wire.  For the Rocketfish receiver unit, it's the same thing...you'll need + and - connections to your speakers.

Unless your soundbar has those audio outputs to drive your rear speakers, this particular product won't work.  This would be the case if your soundbar is connected to your TV instead of an audio receiver.

I can't say it wont. I have used it with a Denon receiver and now I have attached to an Onkyo receiver with surround. The wireless speakers is for front and rear speakers but I am sure if you plugged in any other speakers it would work. Good luck
