This unit should connect to your receivers left and right channel and the transmitter should power the two rear speakers.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure you would get the actual full surround sound effect - which sometimes sends different sounds to the left rear speaker and the right rear speaker. The sending and receiving units link to each other automatically. So if you tried this set up with two different receiving units, there is no way to ensure the left unit links with the left receiving unit. So you may get the same sound out of both rear speakers, or even swapped (right sound effect going to the left and vice verse).
