“I just bought this and im tryig to hook it up to my samsung receiver. On the back of the receiver, there is nowhere to connect the wireless sender. Does this have to be connected to work?”

the "sender" hooks up to were you would connect rear speakers on the receiver and needs to be plugged into electricity. The larger "receiver" unit connects to where you are placing your rear speakers and needs to be plugged into electricity. Your rear speakers attach to the receiving unit. Red and black speaker wires were supplied. After everything is connected and plugged in and turned on, then you pair the sender to the receiver. You will have a solid blue light when they see each other.
