I have not had any problems with dropped signals with this unit. I have an excellent router though that has 5g service. Make sure your router placement is central to everything in the house.

If you want a strong signal make sure the Roku is close to the WIFI device and it isn't blocked by doors, walls, or furniture. My Roku is about 8 feet from the WIFI transmitter with no obstructions and it works fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not own the Roku stick. Do own both firesticks from Amazon. I do prefer the stand alone over the sticks. At least the latest of stand alone, Premier media has not been an issue for drop outs.
