• No, there is no way to write to media directly from the Roku. The premiere doesn't have a usb port. You can read media from an SD card on the premiere+.

• You cannot plug a flash drive into the Roku device. Why? There is no USB port on Roku.

• It is only for plaback of pictures, music and movie files using an app such as roku player. I would not expect writing to devices to ever be supported due to many factors such as DRM licensing issues, processing power and price point. Hope this helps.
