Please try again later.Q: #1 1- You purchase a ROKU device. 2- Initial set up of the device includes connecting to your local internet network, preferences and creating an account where you are asked to input credit/debit info BUT IT WON'T charge anything UNLESS you add a channel that requires a subscription or a channel free trial period ends. You can always cancel a subscription before the next month billing or the trial ends to avoid being charged. Q: #2 1- Games just like Premium Movie channels usually require a subscription, so if you want to watch specific programming you will have to subscribe to Game or Movie channels. 2- There are many free channels that may have the games that you want to watch at any given time. You can use an antenna in conjunction with your ROKU to get local channels if the game is broadcasted in local channels.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure about the games, but there are no fees for the device or itself. One time purchase of the device. Now if you connect to a service like Netflix or Hulu you will have to pay them for membership, but you owe Roku nothing.
