“I wish to confirm if/how this device might help get DVR type functionality back to house with streaming cable app. Hulu with this hardware makes DVR of programs possible? Tried getting answer by going through reviews/questions for answer. Thanks all.”

Didn’t try Roku with Hulu, but were not able to make a connection with youtubetv. YouTube told us it was their problem but still waiting to hear back , about 2 weeks now, so we cancelled our two weeks free trial with YouTube. Wanted you tube because it works good with our smart tv and Hulu doesn’t have all the sports channels I was looking for.
