Hi Ray ! The Roku Streaming Stick will need to plug directly into your TVs HDMI port. In addition, you will also need to connect power to the Roku Streaming Stick. There are two ways to power the Roku Streaming Stick. The recommended method is to use the included USB power cable connected from the Roku Streaming Stick to the included wall power adapter and plug the power adapter into a wall power outlet. Another option for powering the Roku Streaming Stick is plugging the included USB cable from the Roku Streaming Stick into the USB port on your TV. You will also need to setup and activate your Roku Streaming Stick following the on-screen guide and you'll be streaming in no time!

i think as long as u have sling already u shoukd be able to use it jus add sling to the clicker may have to reset it but it was offered on the origional channels but prob not free if yr not subscribed

Just plug the Roku in a HDMI port. You will then load the Sling app onto the ROKU, follow the instructions to register the app to your Sling account.

You will also need to provide power to the roku. This can be done with either an ac adapter like you use to charge your cell phone, or if your TV has a USB port you can use that to provide power to roku device.

So really you need an hdmi port and something to provide power. Hope that helps!
