• There is no need for a Smart TV for Roku. The Roku is a stand along streaming device that will work on any TV that has an HDMI connection. Depend on which Roku you buy it has a features that can control the volume, mute and turn tv on and off.

• Nope... that’s the beauty of it , just plugs into the side of your flat screen and basically turns it into a smart tv
