“Hi, I can't seem to find this device when I plug it in anywhere. Different ports yield no results. It's not in Serial Bus Controller either. What do I do? How do I proceed because there are no resources for me left. None. Is it defective? Who do I talk to”

I have verified it's the cable. I used my printer cable and it works fine. This is a recurring problem. Don't know if it's specific to Best Buy or not but this is the only place I seen the issue reported.
