• Serial number is a 9-digit alphanumeric sequence. It is printed on sticker which is glued to the box. Don't get confused with the other bar code printed on the same side.

• There is no serial number. Checked. And returned the new one for another one, No serial numbers. Best buy didnt help at all.

• The serial number is on the outside of the box, (probably beginning with "SAM...") which I imagine other shoppers have photographed to download the software for themselves, (or hackers probably brute forced audiodesk's website for software activations). You will have to contact Samson directly for a product key if your own serial number isn't working.

• It's the bar code just above the UPC bar code label. Enter that on the website to download the software.

• I believe it's on the box, but it's been a while since Ive done it. It is explained in the manual that came with the product.
