There is a plug on the back for a guitar, so it is designed for vocals as well as an instrument and will record into your software as two separate tracks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will likely need a Digital Audio Workstation with VST plugins to filter out all of the background noise it picks up. But, at 24bit, 48khz, it is a good microphone. I just wish I could get it working at 24bit/96kHz as advertised, (which would make vocals much much better, and guitar). But, it is good, (circa 2000-2005-ish? tech). Granted, there doesn't seem to be a lot of software support available for 96kHz or 192kHz sampling support out there.
