QuestionCan I use this device to dictate voice to text notes on a PC? And does it have a USB port that I can just plug in and go without having to download a special app? I want it specifically for use on my work computer.

- Answer It has a removable mini-USB that plugs into the microphone and a USB on the other end to plug into your computer. I did not need a special app to use the microphone - it was plug-n-play with Windows 10. I used Audacity for my recording software (its freeware) which takes a bit to learn how to use.

QuestionThere is no instructions on how to get said software. Upon looking up information on here I see that you need a code that was supposed to be in the box. I did not receive a code. How could I obtain one since I did make this purchase?

- Answer I don't recall receiving software or needing a code. I just plugged it in, selected it as the input source, and started talking.

QuestionHow long is the USB cord? If it's short, can I buy a longer one to use or is one end permanently attached to the mic?

- Answer The cord is actually quite long, 10 feet approx. Downside is, that is uses the old type of USB cord, so the 15+ Micro USB cords that i have for literally everything else, does not work with this which is REALLY REALLY DUMB!
