The model allows 3 options for venting, download the installation guide, I believe it is page 12 and 13, and it advises 3 possible Ventilation types (choose A, B or C):

 - A. Outside top exhaust (vertical duct)
 - B. Recirculating (non-vented ductless)
 - C. Outside back exhaust (horizontal duct)

It can be vented from top or back. I don’t know about the decibels
