- Answer The model allows 3 options for venting, download the installation guide, I believe it is page 12 and 13, and it advises 3 possible Ventilation types (choose A, B or C): - A. Outside top exhaust (vertical duct) - B. Recirculating (non-vented ductless) - C. - Answer If you’re using the recirculating fan setup then it can’t be any deeper than 12 inches. If you’re using the ducted option then you can do as deep as 16.5-17 inches

- Answer Yes, but electrical code regulations usually state a raised box in upper cabinet that is easily accessible. It would be a safety concern if it was hardwired. Also, it needs a dedicated circuit with 12 gauge wire. Possibly hire an electrician if needed.
