There is a paper template in the box for under-the-cabinet holes. Marks the location of holes for screws and for the power cord.

There are three holes to drill on the wall (2 for toggle bolts and 1 for the screw that goes directly into a stud.) Those are for the mounting bracket. Then, you’d drill 2 holes in the cabinet above for the screws that go through the cabinet and into the top of the microwave.

For the back think there is a paper stencil for placing on the wall. For the top, once the bottom plate is mounted and the unit is in place, typically you are drilling through a cabinet to mount above a stove. That part is tricky, need to measure. You can be a little off by maybe 1/8th or 1/4 inch since the washers for the top are large.
