According to the manual, you can cook two things at once by using the rack. One item on the bottom of the microwave and one item on the rack. The manual does point out that the rack should be placed in the clips. It also gives warnings about aluminum foil and other metals in the oven. You can download the manual from the Samsung site to read through it yourself if you wish.
