Microwave unit comes complete with a bottom rear rail that screws into the wall behind the microwave. This however will only support the rear bottom edge of the microwave… The top part of the microwave to the screw up into a solid cabinet underside above it. The microwave is too heavy to hang directly on the wall without the top being attached to an overhang. Corner brackets at the upper rear will not do the job. Huge angle brackets with braces might…but will look bad. The obvious solution, would be to get a countertop microwave, and either leave it on the counter, or build a shelf with a metal underside, set to or at the correct height above your rangetop. With this application however you would have to vent the microwave through the back directly into the wall, and up through the roof; or just rotate the built in exhaust fan manifold to re-circulate the exhaust air, so that it dumps exhaust air directly into the room itself. The most practical fix, would be to install an over with the range cabinet with a cut out that matches the size of your microwave. Then install your microwave up into the cabinet.
