• Yes. You don't need to attach it to a wired source. The sound bar can be paired to a bluetooth device and play sound that way if you like.

• Not it's not, but it comes with an optical cable that I was able to use. There was an optical output on the back of the TV.

• No the soundbar needs either a USB, RCA or HDMI connection. The soundbar transmits the sound to the subwoofer.
