• I believe that, as with all filtered refrigerators, you have to manually reset the filter warning light. There are directions for how to do that in the manual.

• Cologne, Once a new filter has been installed, or to reset the 6 month timer, touch and hold Filter Reset until the indicator goes out. The light will stay off for 6 months. ^Heath
