“How do I attach my DMT400RHS to the side cabinets? I have a granite countertop so I can not attach using the counter brackets.”

Read the installation/owners manual... it specifically tells you how to install it mounting it to the side cabinets and it even includes the screws for that. If you don't have the manual anymore, it's available online on the Samsung website.

Most Samsung dishwashers, including the DMT400RHS, can be either side-mounted or top-mounted. To side-mount the dishwasher, please refer to page 14 of the installation guide which comes with the dishwasher.
