“Samsung DMT800RHS Question I am considering this dishwasher but its dpeth is listed as 25 1/4 inches. I measured the counter top and it is 24 inches. So the dishwasher will stick out by 1 1/4 inches. In that case, there is no use of integrated controls as the controls will be visible even if the door is closed. Most of the households may have 24 inch deep counter top, so is this a common issue with this dishwasher? Thank you”

Yes, to your question about standard counter depth. But, it looks very sleek installed in this same scenario in our kitchen. Honestly, I think it looks just fine sticking out 1.25 inches. Really, i don't think even the most critical of eyes would disagree. I attached photo of the actual installation. Please forgive the counter top color, we are looking at something much darker now to contrast with the stainless appliance color.
