• The 3 lights on the front of the DMT400 dishwasher are Progress Lights, indicating which portion of the cycle the dishwasher is in: Wash, Dry or Clean, indicating the cycle is over. See the attached image for further explanation. Thanks for the question! Ms. Samsung

• Clarify which 3 lights you're referring to. There are many blue lights on the front which indicate the cycle the dishwasher is currently set to perform. Maybe you're seeing the child lock indicators?
