“1. Can I mount a water reservoir on top of the frig to supply the ice maker? Does ice maker require line pressure like 40 psi? 2. Frig is in a summer cottage. Can the lines in the frig be easy drained to prevent any damage from freezing in the winter?”

It needs water pressure (almost all plumbed in units need actual water pressure). If I were you, I would invest in a unit that does not have built in water or Ice and buy a separate table top ice maker.
