• A copper supply can be used. I have one on mine that was existing in my house. Installers wont switch out to a new non copper kit for you because it could expose them to risk of leaks. BB sells the newer kits (non copper). Youll need to investigate whether you can purchase copper from BB or hardware/ diy store.

• Yes, you can do this with almost any water/ice dispensing refrigerator. You would need to have the proper fitting in place on your copper line.

• You can connect to a copper water line - that is if the fitting on the end of the copper water line is comparable to the fitting on the refrigerator.
