“I'm using and Apple 4K TV. I cannot get Dolby Atmos to work on the soundbar. I have the apple TV connected directly to the sound bar and from the sound bar to the TV. I've changed from arc on TV to non arc on TV. No matter what HDMI port, no joy. Help!”

My TV supports Dolby Vision and Atmos but would not push Atmos to this sound bar from the built in apps like Netflix or Prime. This soundbar does not support Atmos through ARC. My Apple 4K would not push Atmos to the soundbar while connected to the TV with ARC. I purchased a splitter (HD Fury) to send the sound from the Apple TV directly to the sound bar, and the video directly to the TV and it works great. I recently purchased a Samsung HW-Q80RZA and it receives Atmos through ARC. My Apple 4K TV is now connected to the TV through HDMI and it will push Atmos through ARC without using the splitter. A 4K Netflix plan will not show Atmos in the description of the movie if the connected hardware does not support it, it will only show 5.1 as the available audio. When all of the connected hardware, including HDMI cables, supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, Netflix will show Vision and Atmos in the movie description. Hope this answers a lot of other questions.
