• This is not a downdraft cooktop. You will have to vent it some other way. I took out my microwave a d installed a rangenhiod and I have to install a vent pipe to the outside. Best thing I ever did because I am not a big fan of downdrafts. My house does not smell like dinner any more because of the range hool.
