Yes, this happened to me. I had it replaced, there is no other way to fix it. Very expensive but I feel so much better. Now I know not to spray the easy off on the panel. Is it still under the warranty? If yes, call the manufacturing company but be prepared to hear that they won't replace it. It is considered cosmetic. Mine is a Samsung cooktop and it costed about $500. Good luck!!
