A:AnswerThe cooktops on Samsung electric ranges have been internally tested to support loads of up to 70 pounds and run continuously at maximum heat levels for extended periods of time. Samsung does not guarantee fitness of the product for any specific purpose, however, it is our understanding that the load, heat and time parameters of general non-commercial canning would fall into those performed in our tests. Please understand that this statement does not imply that the referenced cooktop could be used for commercial use, as operation of the product in a commercial manner may void the warranty.

A:AnswerI was told from a BB sales person that you can't buy this range without buying their pigtail cord because it would void the warranty. I believe the cost was around $27.
A:AnswerJust use the right front burner and be sure you turn the knob to the right, so both burners are on. From there I guess it just depends on how fast you need it to boil. I'd say 6-8 will get you there in a hurry with both burners going.
A:AnswerThe FE-R300SX Electric Range is rated for 240V/60Hz and 40 amps. Your Best Buy Appliance Associates, Installation Team or a licensed electrician should be able to recommend an appropriate cord for those specifications.

A:AnswerWhen the breast meat reaches 160F and the legs/thighs reach 180F this will likely be at different times if the breast goes beyond 160F it'll become dry so i suggest parting off the legs and thighs if/when this happens and returning them if necessary. You can tent/foil over the breast ONLY (leaving legs exposed) to slow it down early and get the end goal as well.
A:AnswerIt's not a K ... I'm sure it's a mark that is used during manufacturing so the cooktop is placed correctly. I have that same mark so it's obviously supposed to be there.
A:AnswerSince ranges are not measured by Energy Star, there is not a standardized rating for their energy use. Besides the bulb for the clock, the amount of energy used each month depends entirely on how often you cook with it, for how long, and how many of the burners are used, and whether you also use the oven, broiler and warming drawer. The FE-R300SX has a total power consumption rating of 13,700 watts and 40 amps.
