A:AnswerDepends on your cable provider.
I replaced my mom old tv for same reason. I did away with the converter by using streaming app from cable provider.
Very easy set up.
A:AnswerWhere the feet screw into the tv it’s 24 inches apart but from the farthest point from foot to foot is 27 inches apart. So it would but not sure how stable it would be.
A:AnswerHave you tried a plain Jane antennae from Home Depot? I use it to grab local channels on my boat. Works great and nothing is scrambled . $20 abt it’s just outside and I get channels in ling beach from San Diego yo Santa Barbara
Think old school, it works.
A:AnswerYes most definitely. I had too use protection plan for 32" TV twice in a thirty month time frame before Best Buy chose to junk and replace rather than repair. The problem of not carrying a plan is (are) you prepared to chunk out plus $300 dollars for replacement if need is immediate. How long are you prepared to go without a TV, washer, dryer, refrigerator, etc.
