Do you have to use HE laundry detergent? null

A majority of detergents now are labeled suitabe for He. I dont buy anything special or different and it works fine. The stuff I usually buy does, however, carry the He label. Fwiw, I typically use Arm or Hammer, Purex, or All brand dye-free liquids.
