• Thanks so much for asking, Mizley! According to page 38 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/3mDnrzl) it is recommended to only put detergent in the detergent dispenser, and not directly into the tub. The exception to this would be if you were using detergent pods, as those can be placed directly into the tub. ^Jecca
