• The subwoofer should automatically turn on once it is linked with the remote.

• It connects to the sound bar automatically so you should be able to just plug it in and it will connect. Try using the remote to increase the bass or the sub volume.

• It turns on automatically. It will connect directly to the main bar. You don't have to connect it to your WiFi.

• I assume your TV has Bluetooth. If not you can't use the wireless. If Bluetooth is on in your TV settings it should find it automatically. If it doesn't there are pairing instructions in the quick set p manual. It's available on Samsung website. Samsung TV remote will not control sound bar. Either use the simple remote that came with unit or get a programmable Harmony remote that will control both..
